Readers
Jantar readers offer a cost-effective security solution, user-friendly and powerful, multimode readers supporting the widely available 125kHz proximity cards. This enables our readers the ability to read using wiegand formats as provided by other reader manufacturer. Card or key fob readers provides fast, secure access by holding the card in front of the reader or simply just entering PIN codes. Designed for use both in interior and exterior environments built in IP56 housing, which are waterproof and can withstand harsh weather conditions.
Readers provide visual (LED) and audible (beeper) feedback to the user. In special cases they can be additionally protected against vandalism. Our access control system is designed in such a way that by damaging the reader one still cannot open the door, as the steering unit which contains steering logic and local database of card users (access controller) is separated.
We use several types of readers in our access control systems, which are separated:
1. According to the type of identification means they are able to read
-
R1 - read-only identification means readers C1
(EM Marin, 125kHz)
- R3 - read/write card readers C3 (Mifare, 13,56MHz)
- R4 - remote control readers C4 (433MHz)
- R5 - fingerprint readers
2. According to the type of communication between the reader and controllers
- D - direct, binary output (X), 64-bit, the reader does not have a processor of its own, the data read is decoded by the controller
- W - Wiegand protocol
- U - USB reader, power supply from the computer
3. By casing design
