What you need to be aware of!
Our market has recently seen an increasing number of similar kits based on hardware of Asian origin with very simple software, which in many cases proved to be either defective or even inconsistent with our law.
Our Time and Attendance Kits are the result of the Jantar company's many years of experience in the fields of time and attendance business registration, market knowledge and observance of work legislation. We produce the hardware and software ourselves (in Slovenia). Because of this, Jantar Kits are not the cheapest on the market, but the balance of price, functionality and usability is certainly among the best in the market. All of this ensures our users stable, long-term and uncomplicated use of purchased equipment.
Installation:
You can install the kit's hardware and software yourself or you can contact our local partner.
What does the kit contain?
A time and attendance kit consists of a time and attendance controller with a built-in contactless card reader, power supply with converter for connection between the controller and the computer, 10 contactless cards and time and attendance software. Users have the option of buying 30 additional contactless cards. The time and attendance kit can be used by a maximum of 40 employees.
Use:
Time recording is conducted in the following manner: the employee, upon arrival at / departure from work places the contactless card near to the controller or, in the case of recording specific events (business / private / emergency exit), pre-presses a predefined function key on the controller (e.g. key 1 for business exit, etc.).
Text on the screen of the controller allows the employee to verify immediately whether the event has been registered correctly. The registration of the completion of a specific event (e.g. return from the business exit) will be identified automatically by the program.
The recorded data are transmitted to a computer equipped with the V7 time and attendance software kit. Data transfer between the controller and the computer is performed by a communication converter (RS485-USB) built into the Spider USB power supply, which is sufficient to power the time and attendance controller.
Data is transmitted to the computer whenever a connection between the computer and the controller is established - it may be permanent or just occasional. When the connection is not established the recorded data are stored within the internal memory of the controller, which is limited. That is why the user must ensure timely transmission of the data; otherwise, it may happen that some of the collected and recorded data will be deleted.
Software:
The most important part of the kit is the software that allows the following: the entry of new employees cards, data entry of staff, the creation of schedules, reviewing of the recorded data, the correction of records, preparation of the reports and extracts by various criteria, the entry and changing of work schedules, etc.
The software records the times of arrival at work, the duration and number of lunches/snacks, the times of departures from work, the time and duration of specific exits (official, private, emergency), the number of commutes belonging to the employees, leave for the past and current year, sick leave, overtime, transfer of hours, etc.
